My Caribow Slynx is awesome!
« on: February 26, 2020, 02:13:10 PM »
First off I want to thank Abe Penner for building me such a beautiful and awesome performing bow. I’ve had it for just over 2 weeks now and I just love this bow. It draws smooth as silk, quiet,  very fast even with my 660grain arrows, puts them where Im looking and my arrows are hitting the target with authority. I love the 2 piece system Abe uses and the grip with the thumb rest and beavertail wrap feels great in my hand.  The Slynx ROCKS !

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Awesome looking bow. I've been curious about his bows for the past year or so.

I have a two piece featherhorn. Love it! the grip is just so perfectly designed. The thumb rest makes it fall into your hand so repeatedly and makes for a naturally pointing bow. the Beaver tail grip is awesome and I would recommend it for any bow.

I want a wolverine next, not sure how I will sneak it past the wife, but we'll see what happens ;)

My Cari-bou "Slynx" is my go to hunting bow. 52@28, 60" long. Smooth as silk. I own 7 of Abe's bows and can say from experience he is an outstanding bowyer. :archer2:

Excellent choice by a real artist. Sweet rig Fred! That last wood you mentioned sounds like a virus 😂 and the quiver matches nicely too!

Fred,
How did that dry lube stick work for you on the Lock it Socket ?
Did it make it easier or still feel tight ?
Love the wood combo you chose on this one.

Keefer, I haven’t it yet cause Abe said it should be fine right now. He uses lithium grease.

That's a beauty Fred.  Abe makes a fine bow.
