New Schafer
« on: April 14, 2008, 05:38:00 PM »
I just got my new Schafer, it has a charcoal dym. riser with a single stripe but triple layer,FF option and bamboo cores with birdseye maple veneers and checkered grip. 58"s and 50#s at 27"s I draw a tad over 28"s and it scales 54#s at my draw. It is a sweet shooter and I really like it. No pics. but I may take it for a ride and let Ishiwannabe(Jamie)take some and post them for me. I hope to shoot one of my spri ng birds with it!! Shawn

Not sure it is the one, my arroyo is the one and has been for a while now. I know I shoot them both pretty much the same. This past season gave me new confidence in my shooting, anything 20 and in is dead with either of these bows! Shawn

Shawn, how do you like the 58" at your draw length?  I've seen a few in that length and shyed away from them since I have a 29" draw.  You think it would work at 29"?  Thanks...Mike
