First Javi Hunt!! UPDATED!!!

A Javi Hunt has been on my bucket list for a long time. Thx to a fellow tradganger Scott (swamprabbit) I had the opportunity to go with him and a couple other Trad shooters on my first Javi Hunt and it did not disappoint!!
16,000 acres of low fence hunting in south central Tx. It was a bow hunters dream place! We set up on feeders for hogs in the mornings and evenings and spot and stalked Javis during the day. Man was it ever fun!! I was fortunate to get my limit of two on the first day.
Missed a hog the second morning when I hit my top limb on the blind when I shot.  :banghead:
All in all it was an Awesome hunt with some really great and like minded guys!
Couldn’t have been a better experience!

Thx Gary, I tried that before with no luck. I assume it’s because it’s on my phone and not a pc

Who did you hunt with?  My former outfitters lost the ranch they hunted, and my wife and I want to go again.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

Spot and stalk dream animal.  My experience is that their sight is less acute than hogs.  If you stop moving you all but disappear to them, but their noise and ears make up for that.
