Didn’t mean to step on your toes there Bisch.
Another update...
I just smoked a backstrap and it is every bit as good as any backstrap I’ve ever had.
One thing I always do is age my game meat for at least a week. I keep it ice and keep the water drained off daily. Maybe that makes a difference, maybe not.

You didn’t step on my toes. It’s just every time I tell someone who likes it, they always mention that maybe I don’t know how to properly dress or care for the meat. Simple fact is, I just don’t like it. It’s ok if you and Scott, or anybody else does like it.
Now get to work on my recurve limbs....................please!!!

Good things come to those who wait!😉
I don't care for it either. But I have a buddy who has asked me a couple of times if I'm ever gonna go kill one again because he and his family liked the ones I've brought back. I may never kill another one but if I do I'll call him on the way home.

I can afford to shoot most any bow I like. And I like Primal Tech bows.

I'm with Bisch on this one I just don't like the taste and I cleaned them right . We've shot quite a few and now when we see them while hog hunting we seldom pursue . They are kind of a pretty animal ... from the distance. They were fun to sneek up on great for the trad bow, good for you on your success.

Congratulations, Randy!!!! I'm glad you had a good time (and a little jealous). That pic with the Javi in the back of the truck with your logo on top of it is AWESOME!
