my new bow pic
« on: February 13, 2007, 02:54:00 AM »
guys I got a new bow today. I was excited to say the least .Let me start out by saying I have never talked to or met chad from lost creek bows until we had this deal . I have a praise for someone I give credit where credit is due and a guy that made this bow deserves some congrads . This is a lost creek longbow a 54" bow Yes you all read right 54 "s .I thought when I was talking to chad that this bow wasnt going to be what he said. He said it was smooth drawing ,fast, quiet and stack free out to 29 inches . Well he was right about everything I couldnt believe this little short longbow was so forgiving.  It is also forgiving at the target I shot groups that were a little better than my 62 " navaho at 20 yards. When you shoot it you have to cant the bow a little more but its hits where your looking at . This is going to be my blind bow perfect size ! Its not only a great shooter but its also a looker . riser is rosewood dymond wood the limbs are red elm  and has a cloth core in the limbs  it has tip overlays and is fast flight compatible . the grip is super very easy on the hand and has a small thumb rest that is located in just the right spot . Guys if your thinking about a short stack free longbow thats accurate and a pleasure to shoot and easy on the pocket get ahold of chad at lostcreekbows.com he has bows starting at 400.00 well worth it . here's to you Chad

Geez, Dorris That baby is sure a LITTLE sweetie. Is it 54" unstrung or 54" strung? and what is it strung if not 54" strung? Either way that would make a very nice sit in the chair and shoot bow. How fast is it?

Mr. Vic,

I have shot one of Chad's bows.  If the "RICE BURNER" can take it thru a speed trap, I better sell my design to O.L..  LOL!!!

Good looking Bow Dorris.

Why am I looking here instead of working on SOMETHING in the garage???  It's your fault Vic!  LOL!!!

A beauty for sure!!  The only thing I can see wrong with it is the shelf is cut on the wrong side of the riser........
