Ive been making them like Chuck for about a decade. My "jig" is a nail in the top corner of a door frame with pencil marks down the side. Ive also been 3strand braiding my loops. Use 15 strand on everything as it fits my nocks. Its a simple plan and it works for me.........YMMV

Yeah, it seems like anyone with half a brain could do it. I just guess the trouble with whole-brain folks like myself is we are smart enough to ask just in case there is something we don't know....I mean a bow is a spring under tension and if the tension fails... someone could lose an eye.

Here are the dimensions and layout for the jig I built. Just need a piece of 1x4 pine and a hand full of nails.
