That sucker looks great, like the red tip wedge, and quilted veneers.

Yippie !!! That's a nice one and done with all the flair, Nicely proportioned tips and just the right size thin tip overlays with a added contrasting wedge, Nice grip shape and shelf. Be proud of that one. Nice job !!!

That's a beauty!  I'm curious about the woods also.   Is the tip wedge glass?

Thanks for the comments

The Bocote riser was less figured than expected, but it’s hard to see inside when glue up so I was hoping for more in the reveal, not disappointed but not super happy..the wedges are red phenolic, horn over bocote on the tips. I use a lot of hickory cores, this one has hickory. I started using both bear paw glass, which I’m fine with, and huntsman glue, instead of EA. I prefer it so far after a few bows..the veneers I tried to dye grey, as I’ve done before, but they came in brown. But it all seems to fit together pretty nice. I wouldn’t want to set it down in the woods. The veneers are of a secret sort lol

I don’t know I think I got the laminating epoxy name right, Mike at Rosewood sold it to me. It is more viscous than EA40, I find it quicker and easier to apply, wets out better.

I finished up another 69” bow for me but I’m playing with the finish..I’ll post a strung pic this time.

I'm curious about which Huntsman product also. They only have a couple hundred different options :saywhat:
I have use one of their dual cartridge system epoxy, but that was for glueing bolts in rock.

Working on a high gloss finish but I keep getting tiny bubbles. I usually do a combo finish and a couple coats of satin. Looks nice but thought I’d play with gloss
