A pair of new Sweka longbows
« on: March 30, 2020, 07:23:23 PM »
Here's a pair of longbows recently completed by my buddy John Sweka. My only ASL and a new one for himself. The reverse grip one is mine. 68"-52#..white glass back and belly. Curly maple and blackwood riser.
His is 68"-57#...white belly..brown back. Curly ash riser.
John is an excellent bowyer for someone who does it part time. And mostly for his friends. I felt honored when he agreed to do it. Fun to shoot and pretty to look at. Hope you all agree....

Glad you like it John and I hope it brings you years of enjoyment.
It's unfortunate this won't be a good year for the 3D's.  I'm glad we got one good shoot in at Shade Mountain before all the crap hit.

I actually got to shoot one of his forward handles a couple years ago at Bear Quest.
Very nice shooter.
