I bought this bow off Terry Green when they were raising money for the server.

It's been raining here all morning, and I couldn't take it anymore. I went and got this bow,and some arrows from a long time ago that have some vanes on them. I haven't shot this bow in about two years, and have never shot these arrows from a trad bow. I guessed at a tip weight, and was surprised with perfect flight with my first shot. So I went out back and had a great time in the rain, and walking around with my lab puppy.

I didn't get perfect flight every time, but I can see where hunting in the rain with vanes might be viable.

How do all you like my quarantine cut? :biglaugh: The old lady and I got drunk and that happened, trying to let it grow out.

Yeah Jack,Bud has led to a lot of bad decisions!

It finally stopped raining, and I took some proper arrows out. This little bow really shoots! It's called a Lost Creek.

I may try experimenting with the trad vanes a little if I got these cheap arrows with hard vanes to fly as good as they did.

YES!!!

Chad did really well here when he was a Sponsor, and he made a great bow for sure.

I had  one and I let a guy shoot it and he begged me for it, so I sold it to him.  Then I got another and the same thing happened....then I got that in you have.

Glad you are enjoying it!

It is Mike. I was shooting these vanes because it was raining. I took it out when it stopped with feathers, and it shot really good. It's 54@28 and only 54" I had to concentrate on my release quite a bit.

Yeah I won't be doing that again Mike. I'm going to get a new string for your recurve and start fooling with it.

That's great - and nice quarantine cut. My hair is getting pretty dang long and I've been threatening my wife with a similar cut - for me of course.

Oh and nice shooting. We did have a lot of rain the past few days here in the Hill Country!

You have a lab puppy, and post a bow pic?  Where is the lab puppy pic?  Please, let that hair grow out.

That's a great looking bow, Rick. And it looks like you found the right arrow. Don't fret about the quarantine cut. It looks OK. And if your wife is able to cut your hair, just think about all the money you can save -- she might just be a keeper?

They were shooters to boot...I killed 3 pheasants with the 1st one I had.

That's when I let the guy shoot it.

Here you go Steve. He's such a good dog. He has found three arrows I just couldn't find. When I get up and it's still dark, and grab my bow he barks and bucks around.

Joe I know I vented a lot on our trip, but she is a keeper. Just like this bow is a keeper.
