A New Recruit Hooked on Trad!

Very proud of this young man! He’s been dabbling in traditional archery but never hunted because he couldn’t get consistent accuracy. I gave him a crash course on gap aiming and he was putting them in the boiler room of the target With my Black Hunter Longbow

I told him your shooting well enough to go hunting and that’s we we did. I set him up on a feeder and I went to another feeder. About 5:30 he texted saying he hears hogs coming his way!
Wasn’t long I hear a hog squealing and thought surely he stuck one! Got the text he had one down in sight!!!!! He’s hooked for sure now! He was so pumped up and so was I 
Wasn’t long I hear hogs grunting coming my way and they came in and I made an 18 yard shot on a sow. I texted Beau to come help track and we found her about 80-100 yards from the feeder.  A great day in the woods
