Heads Up
« on: April 29, 2020, 02:08:32 PM »
Was just on Grizzly Industrial website and noticed that lots of stuff is on sale as usual, but the freight charges are all $25. which can amount to a fairly substantial savings. I ordered a granite surface plate and saved $75. in freight!

Cool. But I can't think of anything I need from them, especially anything sizable.

Me too Rich! I figure if its all made in China, why pay for some fancy nameplate. On the other hand, if I can actually find an American made product I will gladly pay for it.

Thank you, just ordered a portable table saw.
The savings on shipping was a tipping point.

We live in a global economy, you would be hard pressed to find anything similar to Grizzly products made in the USA. Grizzly has higher standards placed on their production facilities, impeccable no questions asked customer service and had no hassle delivery to your door.

I love their stuff and I have a lot of it.

A little factoid on Delta before you think their stuff is made in the US;

Many of you may be aware that 10 years ago, Delta Machinery, a business unit of Pentair, was sold to Black and Decker, along with several other tool brands including Porter-Cable. At the time, Delta was headquartered in Jackson, Tennessee. Then, in 2011, Black and Decker sold Delta’s assets to Chang Type Industrial, LLC, a major OEM manufacturer of power tools that is located in Taichung City, Taiwan. Chang Type established a new company for the brand, changed its name to Delta Power Equipment, and moved the whole operation from Jackson to Anderson, South Carolina. It has been headquartered there ever since.
