Renewed Harold Couch TD LB....new limbs too!
« on: April 16, 2008, 04:28:00 PM »
I got my LB back, and what a great job Mr. Couch did. I saw a small spot on the limb that absorbed water, so I asked him about it. He said send it back I will refinish it, I stand behind my work. Great customer service, and I love the bow. I have since I won it at JLMBH 07.
The new limbs are 56@28, the old are 45@28, the bow is 62". He even personalized it for me! If anyone has one of his bows, throw a pic into this thread. I would love to see more of his work...
A great man to deal with and a great bow. I cant wait to get it out into the deer woods again. Thanks for looking.

KIP-thats a white birch.
Harold, Im going to work up to the new limbs. I have to be honest...Im dying to shoot them, but I decided to err on the side of caution and stick with the lighter ones for now. Great to have it back and to be shooting again. Thanks again!

Built in '95 for Charlie Bare. 62" 57# @ 28" "Moose Bow" This bow is very easy to shoot. I think due to the large grip.

Nice Hoytman! Any luck with the birds?
I couldnt help it today. I shot with the local trad group today with the 45# limbs. I was feeling pretty good after a few practice muzzy rounds. I got home, put the new limbs on and WHOA....I cant even see the arrow until it hits! I know they are 12 # heavier, but they dont feel it to me. Man do they smoke an arrow. The bow is still whisper quiet too...I love this bow!

Well, I can't post pictures but I have 5 or 6? of Harold's bow. Three (3) others here also shooting a Couch bow. I've killed whitetail (130 class) rabbit, fox and squiell? with by TD recurve 51@27" and I use it to hunt ELK and Bear!!

Harold i would love to try that last recurve. How big around is the throat. I owned the bow Jamie won at my hunt for a while. Quietest bow I have shot, that and a 7 lakes. Shawn
