Wife's New Bow
« on: April 16, 2008, 08:03:00 PM »
My wife got a new Hill Country bow at the K-Zoo Expo in January.  She decorated it up with a set of Antler Burr Limb Bolts from Sticshooter.  The riser is Kingwood and Curly Maple and the limbs are stained Grey Elm with bamboo cores.

Roman makes one heck of a sweet bow. It looks great and I bet it shoots even greater.

Roman makes a great bow and Frank is quite the artist himself. She must be one happy archer.

I remember that HAPPY girl. She walked around proud as a peacock, well, peahen. Glad to see Frank helped her dress it up more. I'll have to show Roman these pics.

Nice, I've got a Hunter Longbow on order. Should get it around late June. It's gonna have all gray action wood riser, actionboo cores, and gray action wood lams. Simple yet effective.

Cool looking bow. Also very cool that your wife likes to shoot with you.

I talked to him this morning,Dave, and he's looking forward to getting to the library to check out your pics. Those are some outstanding pics by the way. They do his workmanship justice. Thanks!

I guess you'll have to get one too so they'll quit drooling on her's!  :bigsmyl:

Red Boar. Do a search for Sticshooter. He and his wife do them.

Nice looking bow and thanks for the kind words...I only help my hubby in a pinch with detailed work (like these) as I am working on my own things to get them done in beading.
Glad Tonya likes them.
