Test drive of a new dual shelf by Chad Holm
« on: May 11, 2020, 04:42:23 PM »
I have a dual shelf bow with the shelves on the same side, it’s a Northern Mist Whisper. I talked to Chad Homs about making one with the same one sided design. He said he would give it a shot and let me know. I get an e mail saying try this out, it came today!! It’s 64” 43#@28” dual shelf and I will say he did well. Smooth to my 29” draw, bow is quick and quiet. Shot it out to 25 yards with both hands and it’s spot on when I do my part! Chad asked me to give him feed back and then it may become an added model to his line up. Might get called the “Switch Hitter”  !! Photos will be coming shortly, thanks for looking !!!

Very interesting. I’d shoot both sides too. Wonder how the tiller is done or is it the same.

Interested in the price also if you:could share

The tiller is even, grip is centered.....

That would work out great for a right hander that wants to shoot with a thumb ring.

I’m a little slow this morning, Ron.  I didn’t get what you clearly stated!  Pictures are worth a thousand words, I guess. I also wondered about tiller. Guessing it’s neutral. OOPS, I posted before your reply showed up.
Thanks for sharing. It would be a great training bow.

Been out shooting this a bunch, it is amazing !! Left and right handed it performs excellent. Left side does like cock feather in,  it sure why, maybe my release lefty is not as good.  I will have one of these built in the near future....

Hmm as a dual shooter myself this interests me.

Cool ron. I remember the northern mist. I know you like Chad's bows and have a few but I say, the arm tattoo with his name on it may be a little much.

Great looking bow and design. May have to consider retiring my '56 Kodiak as my dual shelf bow.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

I'm always checking out his stock bow page. He has one that shows sold on his stock bow page.
