I had one, a beautifull mac ebony riser and limb caps. Bow was a nice shooter and a fast bow. On the good days i was really accurate with it. The only thing I didn't t like on mine was the limb vertical stability was quite floppy and along with high speed you need good form and for my shooting it was not a really forgiving bow. I was unlucky with that bow : upper limb delaminated at a 3D course and when I got the new set after a couple of weeks the wood limb overlay at the bolts partially came out. I had it fixed but again the tip of the overlay unstuck a little. I fixed it myself in a good way and then resold the bow. Despite my bad experience I keep a good feeling about that bow and A&H customer service did good.

I shot one once, and boy did I like it. Just have too many bows at the moment.

I dunno what kinda wood clubs the other guys are used to shooting but I had an ACS for a spell and dont recall it being any more "fragile" than any other bow I have owned. In fact the carbon and bamboo limbs ought to be viewed as quite durable.

I have bought traded and shot a lot of longbows . I have a 3 piece that I bought 2-3 yrs ago . Without a doubt the smoothest and best shooting bow I have ever shot . I dont know what grip it is but it fits my hand perfect . I still have other bows that I shoot from time to time, but always go back to my A & H . After I come back in from shooting it I ask my wife what am I going to say . She says why do I shoot anything else . May not be for everybody ,but it's for me .

Yes, nice bows. And you do not have to worry about 'babying' them like O'L's.
