Fresh Fish here just saying hello
« on: May 21, 2020, 02:38:14 PM »
Hey Guys,

Just joined up and wanted to introduce myself. I am a man of many thoughts and few words. I have shot a trad bow on and off over my short life but have recently (within the last year) been shooting much more frequently. I currently have a bodnik slick stick in 50# and shooting cedar projectiles (cautiously looking into carbon arrows with AAE Trad vanes). I hunt primarily in southern Louisiana public land for deer and squirrel but am not successful in seeing much. I am however very successful in screwing around in the woods and having a good time. My next big hunting trip will be in September in CO for Elk (first elk hunt ever).

Soo.... HELLO WORLD

Welcome from Va.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Welcome - hope you have a good time when you come here to Colorado elk hunting.  Just beware of the elevation change, get in good shape and don't hit it to hard the first couple days, give your body time to adjust to the elevation.  Drink lots of water and take a break when needed.
