Rod,
That decorative arrow I carved from a garden stake and it has a carved nock and a field point on it that I did about 10 or 15 years ago. Then last week I cut 3 feathers using corrugated roofing tin and sprayed painted it with what I had in my cabinet .
I then attached them to the arrow shaft and cut it to appear as a real feather with tin snips .
I figured why not decorate the “PlayStation” and I ain’t done yet with adding things to it.
I will put a rubber piece of stall Matt to the bottom of that deck where I have a 2x4 cause I took a little chunk out last night and knew it would happen but not so early after building it.
My buddy said better put some rubber on those two doors as well so it doesn’t get ate up with worm holes .
Now as far as the stall Matt in the back it works really great and most arrows bounce right off from shooting 20/30 yards and the ones that do stick come out easy cause they only penetrate the very tip of my field points. If the bow is a heavier poundage and closer shots I’m sure there will be a few that really penetrate deeper.
