Well my Old Man finally got the bag targets placed in what he calls the “Outdoor PlayStation” during his down time from this virus and we got to break it in today for the first time.
Here I am (Darci) with a few arrows in the block target .

What’s the tube sticking out the front used for?

Dan the pole is for a swinging target like this one which is a piece of carpet rolled around a 2x2 and screwed on . Then I just clip it on the eyebolt on the pole and if you hit it it spins around and doesn’t hit the “PlayStation” ...I hit it 4 times last night but here’s one that stayed in .

That's one heck of fine target structure-glad the kids, old and young, have a place to play. Well done.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

My Daddy said a darn Bee stung him right at the time he released his arrow from his Red Wing 42# recurve and made him miss and hit the door but I think he might not  “Bee” telling the whole story  :readit:

Where is the bow that shoots the arrow hanging up top? :goldtooth: :archer: :archer2:
(Great looking setup btw.)

 Jim,
This is the culprit that sent that arrow through the door!
Now the Man that got stung by that “Bee” is to ashamed to show his face lol but that Avatar picture gives you an idea of what he looks like  :goldtooth:

Rod,
That decorative arrow I carved from a garden stake and it has a carved nock and a field point on it that I did about 10 or 15 years ago. Then last week I cut 3 feathers using corrugated roofing tin and sprayed painted it with what I had in my cabinet .
I then attached them to the arrow shaft and cut it to appear as a real feather with tin snips .
I figured why not decorate the “PlayStation” and I ain’t done yet with adding things to it.
I will put a rubber piece of stall Matt to the bottom of that deck where I have a 2x4 cause I took a little chunk out last night and knew it would happen but not so early after building it.
My buddy said better put some rubber on those two doors as well so it doesn’t get ate up with worm holes . :jumper:
Now as far as the stall Matt in the back it works really great and most arrows bounce right off from shooting 20/30 yards and the ones that do stick come out easy cause they only penetrate the very tip of my field points. If the bow is a heavier poundage and closer shots I’m sure there will be a few that really penetrate deeper.

Darci, thanks for your "honest" report.  Don't let him get away with any funny stuff.  :biglaugh:

I'm thinking that is going to get lots of use.
Looks great too.

Very nice setup, but why so high off the ground? The kids must have a hard time pulling any high shots.

The targets aren't too high for dad, and I doubt if he will let them shoot without him or and adult.
