PayPal doesn't recognize St. Jude's as a recipient for payment EXTRA INFO PG 2

I have been trying for the last 2 hours to pay for the item I bought in auction #1 via Pay Pal and they will not recognize the name St. Jude's for payment. 

I find this rather frustrating, as from what I can read regarding payments via pay pal, we are supposed to pay St. Jude's directly.

I hope this can be fixed as I do not want to be thought of as a late payer......

I just talked to them earlier this week, and Garrett Polk talked to them before me as he's handling all PayPal payments.....let me see what I can find.

When I logged into paypal and entered the Stjude.org, paypal said I could only pay via the St. Jude website.  Then, as I was about to pay, there was no way to enter comments, or, as far as I got, friends and family.  So I backed out.

Thanks Steven.... we have the PayPal addy we've used for years.... and that's what I posted.  I not sure if there is a new one or not as Garrett didn't tell me it was changed.

But hang in there a bit longer if y'all would, as I'm not sure about donating through a page that may or may not be legit.  Lots if scams out there these days.

Wierd part is I cannot find the actual address we've been using for years on the web.

Bruce, it's ok, just remember,  no one here is, or has ever been, in charge of St Jude or PayPal.  No one's going to label you a late player....until July.

3 numbers and 3 people... NO ONE knows the Direct PayPal address for St Jude donations at St Jude....

And, I still can't find it on the web for verification.


Hard to believe for an organization that lives off of donations.

I just sent $5 to [email protected] and it went through with comments and 'friend's option... But I have no way of confirming that it actually went to Saint Jude because no one there can give me an answer .

Garrett Polk talked to them a few months ago to get everything set up.... maybe he can shed some light on it.  Very frustrating.

However I tried the [email protected] and got the same screen as stevem:

Thanks Bruce....yes, I exhausted that already.

St Jude should have a working PayPal address posted everywhere.  I guess the page might work, but I never used that before. I always used the PayPal address Doug had posted and sent checks to Walt before PayPal was even born.

Maybe Garrett is working on it.  I thought all was well months ago.

All I did last week was touch base just to make sure the new contact knew we were kicking it off, and the contact person Doug gave to Garrett had changed again...now her number is disconnected.

Terry, this morning when I went to pay for the sleeping indian covered canteen you donated paypal informed me I had to go pay on the St Judes sight. I went on their page and clicked a one time payment of $65 and to pay with paypal. When I did that it took payment but did not give a chance for any comments. Would it be possible to email proof of payment in with details of where to send canteen and I also did not get a chance to acknowledge it was for the TG auction. I did get receipt and a thanks from St Judes. Thanks Terry for your donation and all you do for all of us.

This was set up long ago and it seems things have changed.  I'm having troubles getting answers from St. Jude because I'm having trouble getting in contact with anyone that knows what's going on there. 

Just send me a screenshot or PDF file of payment confirmation along with the otherwise requested identifying information as listed above and copied/pasted below.  Sorry for the confusion.  We can keep on doing good things for the kids all the same.

TG Auction for "whatever you bid on" - "TG Auction" will help St. Jude's send me accurate reports of who donated and the "for ..." will help me locate the items on the auction listing
    Forum 1/2/3/4 - there are typically multiple forums of donations and sometimes things like Big Jims Bows may have multiple donations spread throughout the multiple bid forums to give everyone multiple chances at such items
    forum name/handle - this identifies you as the bidder
    your mailing address - this is for me to forward to those who donated via PM


So for example if I bid on a Big Jims Custom Bow that was listed on the first bid forum, in the notes section would read something like:
TG Auction for Big Jims Custom Bow. Forum 1. GDPolk. Garrett Polk 1234 Street Address, City, State, Zip Code

It may be regular business hours before I can get in touch with someone at St Jude directly that knows what's going on.  I'm not getting anywhere so in the meantime y'all just hang tight or send me payment confirmation directly with some info needed from the auction and addresses to forward to the sellers.
