New to me Thunderhorn......PICS
« on: February 13, 2007, 12:01:00 PM »
Just arrived this morning at work. Used but doesn't look used at all.
60" 47# @28" Bocote/Purple Heart riser; Red Elm limbs; back and belly overlays of Purple Heart, Bocote, and what looks like Maccassar Ebony. Same overlays on the limb tips.

Love the grip! Hope she shoots like she looks.

I have had Duanne at Thunderhorn build me several...like 5 bows...I absolutely love them. I will soon be saving for the new three piece design. His bows are amazin..quick shooting, light yet stable..no handshock what so ever...weather you buy a plain jane action wood model or super duper fancy version...I've owned both and both perform flawlessly. He makes sweet quivers and stringers and other stuff as well.

It's been my policy that when I buy a bow and it's a keeper then one goes up for sale. But it's getting to the point that all the bows I have are KEEPERS. Good thing I don't have to pay yearly taxes on them.

I can break the policy if I'm the President.... right?

Hey Joe,

I had one of Duanne's Heartstopper TD bow a while back and that is one bow I now wish I never let go of. I'm a curve man thru and thru. There is two LB's I can shoot well and they are the Heartstopper and a Dakota. I'm getting an itch for another LB on my rack but got a little one on the way right now so got to hold off till life returns to "normal" again before I make a move but those two will be on the list when I start looking...

I think the only "treatment" is to buy more bows that you just have to have...  LOL

I suffer as well.

I just got my 3 pc. last week.  It's my favorite longbow!  I like it so much I'm ordering another one.  I'll try to post a pic.
