RER Recurve - Arrow Selection and Spine advice
« on: June 19, 2020, 06:27:27 PM »
I've recently purchased a RER Recurve - 62" A.M.O. 44# @ 28" draw.  My draw is 27"

Looking for advice on an arrow selection and spine stiffness if anyone has any insight with these bows.  Thanks in advance!!

There are many plausible options.

Here are just two ballpark options:

GT 500 Ultralight…~29 7/8”s…250 gn pt…~26% EFOC…~470 gn total

GT 500 Ultralight…~28 15/16”s…50 gn insert..250 gn pt…~28% EFOC…~502 gn total

Note: a 3 x4” feather would be much better than a 3x5” due to the hi FOC and thus increased drag

600 spine, and don't rule out 700 spine.
