Canadian-USA , USA-Canadian shipping tip
« on: April 18, 2008, 12:02:00 PM »
When you ship a package across the border now, put a phone number on the package. I recently had some kid bows held up in customs at the border for four weeks and then returned to the seller in Canada because there was no contact phone number on the package for the destination. You end up paying shipping twice and get held up for way to long, plus they open the box to search it(repackaging it the way they found it isn't a priority). So when shipping across the border now be sure to include a phone number for the destination. You may save yourself a lot of hassle and money.

PS the package was being shipped by Canadian Postal Service

Are you sure it was held up in Customs, and not just delayed by the inept Canadian Postal service?

Canada Post is very slow in getting packages/letters to the appointed delivery address.

Thank goodness that the mystery has been solved, and things can get moving again. May I have the honor of paying the redundant fee?

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
