M390 knife with silver wire inlay

This is my second time trying a silver wire inlay on a knife. It's a slight improvement over the first time, but I still have some improvement to go. One mistake I made was using dead soft fine silver instead of half hard sterling silver. This made it difficult to work with because it was too soft. But to be honest, I still like it. And M390 is an awesome steel. It's not much fun to sharpen, but it sure stays sharp a long time.

Nicely done! I have one knife with M390 I agree with your observations, but I do like it. You really shined up the steel and to make a nice package.
