I just found out and I’m in total shock. I just talked to him the other day about his Hog hunt. He was pumped and looked to be having a good time from the pictures he was texting.. He made two bows for me and I thought the world of Chad as a man, father and bowyer. He was a friend for life. Praying for his family during this difficult time.

Got a call about 5 hours ago, just now being able to post....

I just talked to him recently... what a sad  day.  He was a great Guy, Bowyer, Father, Tradgangers, and Sponsor. I always enjoyed his posts.  A great Ambassador to our sport.

I’m heartbroken, a friend and bowyer of the greatest talent. One of the few people in this world that actually valued my opinion !! I have a whole bunch of his bows a knowing I can never get another or talk to him again makes me so sad. The tears a streaming down my face. May he Rest In Peace, way to young to pass.
I think you and I have shot many of the same bows, and knowing I will probably never get to shoot or own one of his River Runners is so disheartening. Not even close to the sadness of his loss as a friend and good man, but still such a loss.

Sad news. He had the table across from me for several years at Cloverdale. Nice man, who will be missed. Good hunting Chad.

I enjoyed Chads company several times around the campfires at ETAR and Comptons.
What a great human being to get to know.
A tremendous loss to the Community.
Rest in peace Brother.
Prayers for comfort for the family.

Just went out and shot the first River Runner I bought used. It was a bow Chad made for himself and missed weight. It Will go hunting this fall in his honor, special Sitka spruce arrows with Ribteks !! He will be sitting with me this fall, he will guide me .....

Never met Chad, or shot his bows, but praying.  May the perpetual light of Christ shine on him and give his family peace.

I met Chad at the first Kalamazoo that I attended and struck up a friendship with him as a fellow bowyer. I talked to him at every event that we attended mutually. So sad to hear the news....

Hard to believe. Chad always had a booth next to me At Coon Rapids, we visited a lot, when he first started bow making he asked me numerous question about building bows , Chad progressed into a excellent bowyer . Chad was still a young man to me and he has children still in  school , This is very sad .
