St. Judes bow doe
« on: August 29, 2020, 01:11:07 AM »
First sit of the year with my new to me Toelke Super D I got off the auction this spring. Target panic set in but I managed to get lucky and watched her go down in 30 yards. Brought out my wife's new Teckle for her first" real" track/ deer encounter. Beautiful night in Western Montana.

Super D is about 48#s at my draw. Used a old Grizzlystick Sitka with a Simmons swampshark on the end.

Chris, congratulations and thanks for the post. It's good seeing the bow put to use. I'm going through P.T. for a torn rotator cuff but when I'm back I still have 2 Super Ds to shoot. By the way I recently spent 2 weeks just below Ronan on a fly fishing trip, aren't all the evenings in western MT. beautiful?

Basinboy  Ruby did good despite it being a high hit with no exit. The wind was blowing from the deer towards us and she definately smelled it and went to it. She is 13 weeks old i think and has just been doing short liver tracks in the yard. Great first deer experience

Way to go!
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Pretty cool story- bow has mojo!  That pup seems well on it's way to being a super tracker.
