IDAHO BEAR OUTFITTERS?
«
on:
April 19, 2008, 04:56:00 PM »
A buddy and I are looking at doing a spring 2009 bear hunt in Idaho and was wondering if anyone can help with pointing us in the right direction of an outfit that has a good reputation and understands the needs of tradtional bowhunters? All responses are very much appreciated!
Thank You,
Mark

Give Ted at Raptor Archery a call he is a guide for bear in Idaho and has a pretty good variety of hunts available.
Also he is a sponsor here.

Try Weitas Creek Outfitters. Nice folks, lots of bears, and great service all the way around!

Good call Ron , Yes Ted Guides for Weitas Creek outfitters, and Gary the owner is a top notch guy , traditional recurve shooter as well so he knows what traditional shooters need as far as shots.
Like Ron said , lots of bears and super nice people.
Some of the most beautiful country around.

You can also try world class outfitting adventures. Jason Klinkenbeard is the outfitter. He has an awesome area in the Selway. Lots of bears with good size and different color variants. You'll go in on Mules and his area encompasses 400+ miles. Go to packin.com and check it out. if you want any more info send me an e-mail.
