Called in more than 1 deer with them, does and fawns. They sounded like the newer adjustable grunt tubes.

Guys is sort of like the squealing hen. Everything works once in a while. That call isn’t made anymore either. If it was a call that actually worked consistantly it’s not have gone away. Every nimrod would walk in the woods a blow it shoring deer as the game in time and time again. That wasn’t really the case. Does and fawns come in many times to turkey diaphragm calls. It sounds nothing like a turkey but the do come in occasionally. The call might be just another last chance or another chance effort. It’s just not at least in my area a consistent producer. Start a thread. Everyone post up pics killed w a k meer deer call. Not many pics would be  posted I bet. Wonder why??

One reason it didn't stick around was it was hard to master.  I'll tell you one deer species it works goon on is Sika deer in Maryland.  A friend still has one and calls Sika in all the time.  I'd like to find one myself.

Thank you for the responses, the call I remember was more rectangular than the one pictured.

Another one of similar concept from E.L.K.inc:

Traditional bowhunting is often a game of seconds... and inches!
