Place to shoot near Howell NJ?
« on: September 13, 2020, 12:55:27 PM »
I may have to drive my wife and daughter to a baby shower on Sunday 9/20. Location is in Howell NJ. Will have a few hours to kill. Anyone know of an outdoor range around there or maybe Freehold area that allows guests a 1 day pass?

I’m not from that area but isn’t assunpink WMA relatively close? It’s a big wma Im thinking they may have an archery range. One issue are you a NJ license holder? One person in a group must have one to utilize state ranges, if you’re by yourself that’d be you

Hey! Thanks for the help folks. No Jersey license, I'm traveling down from Dutchess County NY...maybe. Right now 50/50 I have to make the trip. I figured any of the clubs may still have Covid related restrictions for guests. My club (Cos Cob Archers CT) restricted use for members only during crisis. But I appreciate the feedback. I have plenty of reading stuff to keep me busy. Thanks again, Rich (past president New York Bowhunters)
