Good luck Nutmeggers. I'll be in a stand before first light. Supposed to be around 46*.

I had a lone doe come in at 7:30. The only good look was just out of range of my longbow (20+/- yards). Then she came to within 10 yards, but quartering too and covered in canopy leaves. No shot. Good way to start the season though.

Went out Friday evening for two hours, nothing.
Went to an oak ridge this morning until 10:00, dry, crunchy, drought conditions, and lots of acorns, but nothing moving but a few red and gray squirrels.
Will try again in the morning.
I can't be the only CT guy in the woods!?
