Being relativly new to all this, I was looking for some info on the difference between these woods as limb cores. I know certain people prefer certain woods over others. Why? What makes one better than the other?

My personal preferance is yew. The reasons being it's lighter and more flexible than osage (smoother to draw and faster, with less hand shock).
It's more durable (no nodes), easier to work with (should be cheaper), and IMO better looking than bamboo, while maintaing the positive characteristics of bamboo (light and flexible).
