Good luck NY bow hunters. Our early northern zone archery season starts tomorrow (09/27). I'm heading for the mountains this morning. Post any hunting stories and pics if you can. Most importantly, stay safe, enjoy the season, and wear a safety harness if and when you are in your tree stand!

Hope you all have some great hunts and can share some stories and pics. I had back surgery at the beginning of the month and I'm working my way to a hunting bow (doctor says I can start drawing a light bow , yea!) so I don't know when I'll be hunting . I'll be looking forward to everyone's adventures even more this year .

Good luck boys. Myself I’m a little apprehensive. Many of my areas are in or near the EHD zone.

We’re finding ALOT of dead deer from EHD here in the Hudson Valley. I’ll be doing a majority of my hunting in Delaware County. Good luck guys.

Out for the first time today. Saw one 7 pt and two does. I found a dead buck in a creek fifty yards from my stand. I am suspecting is the disease affecting our area.

Is that down in Rockland Cnty area.
Regardless it should be cold enough soon to kill off the nats that carry that disease.
Good luck and be safe.
