Rainy Morning Doe
« on: September 29, 2020, 10:05:02 AM »
Slipped in to a spot close to home Monday morning 9-28-20.  It was raining fairly steadily but I made a great little hidey hole ground blind a few weeks back from fallen trees and various limbs that even provided a little shelter from the rain.  At about 7am 13 does came through.  At 25 yards I shot this one!  She died in sight.  Perfect hunt!  In the woods at 545, deer down by 7 and in the truck by 8!  Love it when a plan comes together.

Used my primal tech longbow 58" 51@28 drawn to 26.75"  Goldtip trad 600 with 50gr insert and 175gr VPA 3 blade...

Cut through like buttahhh.

Best of luck to all and thanks for reading.

9 Shocks, it really is great when a plan stumbles together. Nice deer and a good shot. All in all, it seems to have been a really great hunt. Congratulations!

Way to go, Kevin! It's always nice to put a big doe in the freezer early to take the pressure off. Congratulations!
