Best camo netting for quick blinds?
« on: October 12, 2020, 10:51:32 AM »
Need a recommendation on camo netting brand for making quick on the go blinds.

I have to use this,  as I will have someone with me that has trouble setting still.

I was going to try and take the pop up blind but lugging that thing around and chairs for 2 is something I’m not interested in. Or if you have any advice or rigging it up?
Used to use some  years ago when I ground hunted mostly. And just clipped it on tresses and whatever I could. Thanks

I have used a piece of woodland camo fabric from a fabric store. That and a dozen or so clips and a few saplings and I can set up a ground blind in no time. Just add a little folding chair and some brush and you are all set.

I have found camo burlap for cheep in the big box stores.
If you don't leave it out in the weather, it will last for several seasons.
Only down side: it will grab anything like briers and stuff like that.

I like burlap material, run a piece of cord between a couple trees or form a U shape if ya can , then tie or clip the burlap to that and brush in some    Good to go

I have made blinds with camo burlap and found them easy to work with. I either tack them to conveniently located trees or lightweight wooden stakes from ACE. A staple gun easily attaches the fabric. The ones I make are semi-permanent, but can easily be made quite portable. You may need guy lines and stakes to make it rigid. Deer seems to get used to them quickly. One morning I was crouched behind the burlap with my knee touching it and causing a slight bulge in the fabric. Two yearling deer came walking by, and one of them actually brushed against the point that my knee bulged the cloth, literally the width of the burlap from me. These inexperienced deer walked by without noticing anything amiss.
