South Carolina WMA Hunting
« on: October 13, 2020, 04:10:19 PM »
Well the first week of season has been working for me. I've scouted this little WMA near my house and have hunted it several times in the past. About a week before season I was scouting and seen that this one water oak had a couple acorns on the ground but no feed sign. I knew it would turn on just when was the question. Season came in and I was gong for an afternoon  hunt and was going to walk until L found something hot. When I went back to check that tree from 20 yards or so I could see feed sign under the tree. I could also see a major trail that was there before so I circled around to get the wind right and climbed for a afternoon hunt. Wasn't long 3 doe was under that tree and the biggest gave me 10 yards shot. Everything worked out what afternoon
