Have the core lams made , now to scarf joint them and make long ones outta short ones...
This shows a finished lam and one bout half done. They should both be ground to a feathered end just like a riser fade when done.
Now to glue them together I have an aluminum straitedge 1/4 x1.5 x72 that I lay plastic under glue area and then clamp first lam down on the straitedge. Then give a good coat of ca to that lam and press the other lam down where it goes. Look at second lam to be sure it has a good coat of glue also .
Now lay it in place , flip the plastic over it , feel the joint and get it as flush as possible. Lay a block on top for even pressure and clamp, I use a scrap of plywood. You have about 15 seconds to do this so don’t fool around and have all items ready to go.
I let it set for at least a few minutes to be sure it’s done bonding , could prob do less but ...
