I settled on some Easton Axis Traditional wood grain finish with gold wrap and yellow feathers. 550 grains out of 55#, 56” flying like laser beams with a Kustom King Trailmaker up front.

Eagles Flight three arrow quiver that I got from St. Judes auction completed the package nicely.

Is Osage a heavy wood like Kingwood, Coco Bolo, or is it more like Maple. It sure is a very nice yellow too bad it didn't stay that way.

I have a small strip of Osage between Kingwood on my BW but it's almost as dark as the Kingwood.

I was thinking about putting an eyebolt in the end of the log on the porch and hanging my buck tail down. Then when I wanted a piece of meat just skin back the hide and cut off a chunk. Of coarse I figured the weather would be cold enough to let him hang in November.

Ron,
As time goes on will the Osage change color to the honey brown? I know self bows will.
