Turning two blades into four?

I was going to try cutting a slot into the 160 grain magnus 1 and using the bleeder blade to make a 175 grain 4 blade. Has anybody tried this? How did it work?

You're going to have to find out how much weight you loose with that slot though. May just end up back at 160...
