One FUN hog hunt!
« on: April 21, 2008, 08:07:00 PM »
Well I just got back from a great hunt with Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia down at the Chickasawhatchee WMA in South Ga looking for pigs and turkeys.

There were a bunch of great guys there that I got to meet for the first time and some that I have hunted with before and LOTS of hogs seen. Me and a buddy Mark got on hogs every single time we went out. We were able to take two small grill sized hogs the first evening we were there. I got to kill my first animal with a bow I made and with a stone point to top it all off. It was REALLY exiting! Here are some pics.

Here are the only other pics I have JC. I have a terrible time remembering to take pics. We got into some knapping while we were there and had a all around good time in camp. Chickasawhatchee is a very nice WMA.

Don, pack yer lunch...it's a looooong way down there for you and me. But at almost 20,000 acres, I'll bet there's more than a few hogs.

Looks like a great time there Lewis, thanks for sharing the pics.
