So sorry for your pain. May God ease your hurts, and make you whole.
I took care of my mom when she had bone cancer.
I wish we lived closer together.
Is there a way that I can help?
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I surely can't see how one side of VA to here would make any sense, but, that is a kind thought and offer..

Thank you!!!

What words of encouragement can a person give to someone, when all they look forward to is pain, and the alternative is NO pain, NO tears, NO fear, and a new, young, strong, incorruptable body? But, we are all bricks fitly joined together and all are needed. You are so important here Doc, but I also understand wanting no more pain and weakness. After the things I've been thru, I KNOW that God is keeping me here to see HIS glory moving on earth. Whether it's the rapture or revival, HE will move upon this earth, and HE's keeping me alive to see it, and hoperfully softening my heart to those who hate HIM.  I hope Doc, that you'll be here to experience HIS move too. But, if HE calls you to your reward, The Lord bless you either way, and always. It's a blessing to know you, my friend.

Bob,

Those are powerful and meaningful words, and I thank you dearly for them...

I keep hoping I MIGHT find some medication that will just knock the edge off the pain enough I can function...

Not the most hopeful in that dept here, but I have to keep gritting my teeth

Doc, You are also on my nightly prayer list. May the good Lord intervene and cure you. I offer up this prayer for you.

Saint Peregrine, you are honored as the patron of all cancers. You are known as the wonder worker. You suffered from cancer and with your strong devotion to God were cured. Deliver Doc Nock from the cancer that afflicts his body. I askfor your most needed intervention before God to save him and cure him so that he may live to spread God’s glory. If needed, I ask O glorious saint, for a miracle. Amen.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Doc,
As I have said before you have Always been a somewhat Patriarch or Mentor in how we as believers in Christ Jesus are to Pray for one another when We face struggles we go through on this side of Heaven.
You are no doubt have been there for me and my family and everyone who comes to seek a Prayer Warrior who will lift them up daily .
As Fred has just asked for a Miracle cure for cancer to be removed we need to Trust it’s Gods plan on what He will do rather it be a cure or as you would say If it’s His Will .
I pray daily God keeps you here on earth a bit longer but from our text yesterday you were at the end of any help from the Dr’s treatment plans and your pain is getting unbearable at times to a constant pain .
Those words you said they spoke were “Hospice” and that is a word no person ever wants to hear coming from the Dr.
I felt a Pierce in my heart when you told me that and I probably shouldn’t share that but you need our prayers that God performs a Miracle and if not His Will be done.
As I told you before You Doc have Always been the top leader here and always here at the front door waiting to wrap your arms around one in need of prayer and now you need our arms wrapped around you now  brother.
Your most famous saying I’ll hold dear to my heart always and that saying many here have read “Keep the Son in your eyes”....
That is the focus we all need to always remember especially when we are in the valley of darkness.
Through your testimony I know you know Christ Jesus and I pray that day He lifts you up and carries you so gently home and  you will then be pain free.
My family and I will never forget you for being there to email me back and forth through our adoption journey with all 3 of our daughters .
I believe that started a long friendship here even though I never met you in person here .
I know one day we will meet and get to introduce ourselves to each other in heaven.
You are “Loved” by many Doc and it hurts to have to ever say Goodbye and my Dad God rest his soul would always say “So long” .
I like your words even more my friend and brother “Keep The Son In Your Eyes” ....
God please I ask can we keep this man here a bit more but “If “ Doc Nock “ is ready to go home please make him very comfortable and let him know he has folks who Love and care for him.
 Your friend in Jesus Doc,
                         Keefers <‘)))><

Hi Doc. I'm not a very eloquent man, don't talk a lot but I want you to know we are thinking about you and praying for you. You have made a big impression here and we still need you around. You have made more of a difference in this world than you may know. Like Keef I have never met you in person but over the years You have reached out with emails and pm's etc  with words of encouragement and prayed for my family. My wife and her cancer ordeals, my grand daughter and her heart problems . I hope they find a cure for you soon and get rid of the pain...and not the way of your uncle's story. May we all be the beneficiaries of God's love and grace.....Take care Doc

Mark & Keith..

i won't type as much as you two cause it hurts to have my hands out to type..

I am deeply touched by your combined words... I know I never read of a need that I don't bow my head and ask God's help... Alas I sense some are way more daily FAITHFUL prayer warriors then I...

I appreciate the sentiments and hope God sees me as you do... :):)

Peace brothers... It's been all sorts of hard of late, for sure... but I sense others have it harder... :(:( :dunno:

Doc: I am so sorry for the pain you are in. My hope is that God takes it away and that  HE would do it while you're still on this plane of existence, but IF it's time for you to move on to your permanent home I hope you NOT hit a bullseye on every shot so you'll still enjoy it when you do hit one. :goldtooth:  God bless you my friend.

Doc, I think of you often and offer my prayers for you, and wish that your pain can be given to me to bear.  I am deeply saddened that your condition has worsened.

Saint Pio, grant an intersession for our brother and heal him, make him well, let him live to continue on the righteous path of our Lord.

I hope for you to stay strong, and vigilant in your faith.  May God bless you and hear our prayers for a miracle.

Doc Payers are still being sent your way. I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing. I never could understand why good people had to experience so much suffering and pain. When I think of the suffering Jesus Christ endured on the cross, I realize why some of the good ones suffer before receiving their heavenly reward. I also realize from your post that you are one of the good ones. Hang tuff.

  Praying you have a pain free week Doc.   I’m at work but wanted to check in on ya here to see how you are doing.
Wish I could do more but just know we care about ya and I got several here in Maryland with your name on their daily Prayer lists and one is the Lady I told you about here and other is the Pastor friend named Otis at The BBTC that has a Sunday service before everyone leaves to head home. They also are “Prayer Warriors” who are lifting you up daily .They ask how is Doc and I report what I know . Keep the Son in your Eyes Doc.
May God Bless you with some relief I pray.
