Bow name?
« on: November 27, 2020, 10:04:09 AM »
The fiancee was going to surprise me with a bow ingraved with our wedding date as a birthday/christmas/wedding  gift and I went and spoiled it by asking if she was ok with me buying a bow. ( wanted a light weight one to train with)  it may work out in the end because a bow that special should be a custom i think vs a production bow.  She put alot of thought into it especially with a bow being such a difficult purchase as a surprise. Ive been trying to think of a deserving name for the bow and was looking for suggestions.  Thanks

I don't have any suggestions for a name, but for an engraving I like the idea of two interlocked hearts pierced by Cupid's arrow, with your initials in each heart.

You could name it "The Sweetheart".  That way you could always say that you enjoy spending time with your sweetheart more than anything else.

Does your girl have a nic name. If so use it. My wife had the nic name "Benny". One of the grand kids many years ago couldn't say grand ma or granny and it came out Benny. We laughed about it and called her Benny ever since. I even had "Benny" put under her name on her headstone after she died. She will always be my "Benny". But I have since named one of my self bows "Benny". When I take it hunting I say I am hunting with my "Benny" tonight.

I have this on a wooden plaque or sign  in our girls room but it speaks volume on how much they mean to us cause we adopted all three of them and I didn’t write it but we saw it in Pa. in a gift shop and bought it.
It could be used on your bow as well and I want to share it with you.

I believe I have chosen a name for the bow.  "Lovebird" under that will be interlocking hearts with our names under those will be the wedding date. String will be pink and purple, each step daughters favorite color.
