Big Foot Kills a Turkey
« on: April 22, 2008, 12:08:00 PM »
Shot him yesterday morning in KY while wearing my "Big Foot" Shaggie suit, which is what my kids call me when I'm in it.  8 yard shot out of a Morrison recurve, 680 gr. arrow tipped with a Simmons Treeshark head. I was sitting on a stump beside an old logging road when he rushed my mounted decoys. I'm taking my Acadian Woods Treestick after another one tomorrow . . . just hope I haven't used up all of my luck:^)

Like I found out this weekend, killing a turkey is hard, killing one with out a blind is damn near impossible.  Congratulations.

way to go, Sasquatch!  doesn't look like I'll have any time to get out at all this season, so I'll have to live vicariously through you!  This keeps up, I'll need to relearn which end of the combination is the "business" end!

Barry Wensel talked me into getting one. I bought my Shaggie from Three Rivers about two years ago before Rancho Safari lost their business to the CA fires last year.
