I've shot Bob Lee bows for years, and think they are top notch.  I have three of them now, and have sold, given away, or traded others.  If I could only keep two bows, one would be a Bob Lee and the other would be a Black Widow.  Actually, that would be a lot easier decision to make than which one of those two I would give up if I could only keep one.

Forgot to add that I got an extra set of spliced wood 40# limbs for when I get old.
Between two risers and three sets of limbs, well, Ive been content for  2 years now.

Do need a Widdow too though... :notworthy:

The bows that have caught my heart aren't made anymore, so I'll have to be careful.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

I have a '64 RWH and a '69 Thunderbird. Two of the best production bows ever made IMO.

I’ve been shooting these early RWHs a lot lately. A ‘63 rosewood riser with tiny tips and a ‘65 bubinga riser with transition tips and nice sapwood in the riser. Both a good shooters. Oh yeah, and that’s an even earlier 62” RWH with walnut and maple riser. I have never even held one of his newer bows but have been wanting to.

I have a similar pair, a 45# ‘63 Red Wing Hunter and a 47# ‘67 Thunderbird (Lockwood riser). Great bows.

Bagged two doe so far this year with the RWH.

My wife and I have 2 Bob Lee bows each.  Anytime I look at some of the beautiful bows being made today, I have to stop and realize that no matter what bow I acquired, I would always grab a Bob Lee bow when it came time to shoot/hunt.

Me? I 'm just shooting a regular bow, a regular gorgeous Blacktail Sitka that is. If I had deep pockets I'd probably have a bunch of regular awesome bows. Bob's included.
