Another Wild Turkey Leg Bone Knife
«
on:
December 27, 2020, 03:00:00 PM »
Thanks to Trad Gang Members...Iowa Tom L and J. Holden who supplied me with a couple Wild Turkey leg bones so I could forge up some more turkey knives (OAL 7 1/4" with blade 3 1/4" from an old file)...tippit
PS: You will notice the leaves in the picture are from Turkey Oaks.

What I like about these Wild Turkey Femurs besides being a nice memento of your turkey hunt is how nice it fits your hand for a small neck knife. This one happens to be a Jake femur.

Nice work! I like the pictures with the turkey oak leaves. I was not familiar with that tree so I had to look it up. Interesting and very cool!
