The form is finished. Got on the strap spacers and lam keepers. I will use a zip tie to pull the lams down on the curve.
Mr Roy my old walnut is kinda slow about taking in the juice  :dunno:

I like those keepers.   Did you make them from scratch or start with a likely suspect?

I have used washers but was not happy with how they worked out. I think I seen something like these only wood and one bolt. So I come up with the slot and two bolts.
I got some lams ground out today and accents in the riser block but no pics.

My walnut still soaking juice  :bigsmyl:

how do you like the frog wood compared to dymondwood?

This is the medium density stuff more like the old actionwood. Mat be better than Spectraply because the layers are thinner and makes it more dense . They do have a High density that I have not tried yet. But would think it will be comparable to dymondwood. And you dont have to buy a full panel.
So I went out to unplug the hotbox. So I went ahead and got the limb out ( All I am doing today ) seems I got plenty of glue on it  :dunno:

Well I had therapy at 1:20 so got some done this morning. Cleaned the limbs up to width.
Put a hold down on the riser sled being it only has a very small stop on the corner. And sliced the ends of.
As you can see I need to slim the wedge ramps down some on the next one.

Yeah I just hope it don't come out too heavy.  I got this body builder buddy that can prolly handle it if it does.

Flem I just seen your request on the stabilizing. I  do have a piece soaking now. Will start a thread on it soon.

Okay got some time in on this one today. I got everything drilled and the limbs on. Seemed to look good with the string down the center.
The rest of this one may really be delayed. Got word today that my mom may be going to Hospice. With all the restrictions on Covid it is really hard to even get in to see her.
