Not much to say other than I was sitting my usual late season spot where a secondary ridge with a little oak flat falls off into a creek. Got a bigger ridge to the south that deer drop down off of and follow a drainage to the flat. 6 does came in. The two bigger does worked into to 8-10 yards. I drew and one of the other does caught a glimpse and quickly trotted a few steps. At full draw I stayed focused on one of the 2 big does that I was going to shoot as soon as she took a step and opened up her shoulder. She kinda spooked and trotted 10 yards further away and I bleated softly. She stopped quartering away at 18-20 yards and I focused in and shot. Hit her right where I was aiming and she bolted 50 yards and fell over. Great hunt! Thanks for reading.
Shot her with my usual Primaltech 58” longbow. 46-47lbs at my draw. 600 gold tip trads and 225 up front. Punched right through her.
