I did a swap on another site 10+ years ago and had a good experience, I'd like to try it again.

I'll make a 1 piece glass longbow and I'd like a glass bow in return in the 40-50# range at 28", RH.

It's been awhile since I last logged in, but good to see someone picked this up and is running with it!

This will be the first one I will have missed since the swap started, but this year there are just some other things going on. Will be watching though.

I guess I'll play, should be able to find time to throw something together. I hate to see it die because of lack of participation especially when guys are good enough to step up and put it on. I'll build a glass bow of some sort. I'm good with anything but a selfbow between 45-55 pounds @ 31"s and right handed.

I will be building a one pc. fiberglass r/d bow under 50 lb...  I like to build a bow that I can test shoot...

I would like a 64", 41 and a half lb. carbon backed / glass belly, r/d  / horse bow hybrid, 19" ebony riser with holly and paduak accents (you pick the design I'm not too particular) with bison horn and sunset red glass overlays and 8 degrees coming off the fades, 5" power lams and 6" tip wedgy's, walrus tusk and again sunset red glass tip overlays with a .040" ebony between them,  boo / walnut / hickory core, I'm right handed but sometimes shoot lefty (depends on the moon phase), got a 26" short draw, 29 1/4" medium draw and a 36" crazy mongolian draw...  I hope I am not pushing it but if I  could get a double stepped shelf to shoot two arrows at once that would be dandy... a medium grip wrapped with white albino beaver tail would be great...  Thanks...

For real...  I would like a fiberglass r/d bow, right handed, 29" draw, 38 to 42#, and I shoot three under...  If the pickens get tight I'll take a recurve...

**  I can also build a barn burner 3pc. recurve if needed but it's not a tried and fully tested design yet...

We were a perfect match except for the tip overlays.   I go 100% ebony.  :)

Is there going to be a build follow along thread or is this it?

I'm ready to start trash talking....... er, ah, I mean talking about my trash build.  It's going to be mostly made up of scrap leftover from my bathroom remodel except I will need to order some formica.   [Auto correct tried to change that to fornication  :o  :scared:  ]

Copy that!  Had to make a new tracking spreadsheet for all these details but I think getting your custom Hill-style PVC pipe bow to you is well worth it.

I’m in. I wasn’t sure that I would have time, but hell with it, I’ll make time.
I’ll build a bamboo/ wood tri lam unless I can get some balsa to make a super lightweight bow that draws 5 or 6 pounds at 31 inches.
In return I’ll be happy with a right hand bow that draws 40 to 50 pounds at 28 inches.
If Roy is in, I want one of his Mongolian tulip wood bows.

I'm sitting on top of the fence.

I may regret this later when the deadline looms and my wife has me sleeping on the couch, but I'm in if Roy's in.
