New to Archery just dropping in
« on: January 13, 2021, 07:47:32 PM »
Hey Yall.  I have just recently gotten into archery about a week ago now LOL.  I had not shot any bow until about 2 weeks ago when I went into a local Hunting/Fishing shop.  I heard on a FB group that the guy over the Archery shop there was into Trad so I took off to see him.  He worked with me for about an hour that day even though he didn't have any Trad bows in stock for me that day they had sold out for Christmas and I just listened like I was in school again.  I went back this past weekend and picked up a 40# Galaxy Sage Elite from him as he thought that would be a good starter bow to get me going.  Needless to say I am hooked on Trad and it seems the Trad Community.  So far I have seen nothing kind people willing to do all they can to help.  Hoping next year to be ready to start with some Whitetail Hunting.  Thanks a lot for allowing me in here.  Here is a couple of my shots from today at between 10-15 yds.  Thanks all.

It will challenge your skill, your ability,  your desire and your will.
But if you stick with it and stay committed, it can satisfy all of those
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

It looks like you are off to a good start, so just stay with it and keep having fun. Remember that trad hunting is a 15 - 20 yard deal and that the game generally has the upper hand. That is what makes it challenging and so much fun.
