A couple of photos of my new Crowned Eagle.  The arrows I've been tuning on are shooting good so maybe this weekend I can hit up the National Forest in search of hogs..

Bryan, that is a beautiful, and very unique-looking bow! If it shoots half as good as it looks the critters are in trouble.

Guys are aquiring new bows like Happy meals at McDonalds.

I got a new Bear T.D with a Bubinga and phenolic riser and # 3 limbs. Its got a high gloss finish. Its awesome looking and they do shoot sweet as honey.I added some #1 and # 2 limbs.Talk about versatility.

I also stumbled onto a really nice Toelke Chinook made for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundations fundraiser. Its got the XXX high grade woods.Schafer checkered the grip and it also has Schafers polished sheep horn tips. Its got that hierloom collector quality look.

Last but not least I found a Frederick longbow.Been looking for one for years really. You never see em for sale.Even though he built hundreds of bows when he was a full time bowyer and had a long lead time.I have run wanted adds for one for years and struck out.My 1st custom bow was one of his fine Weapons my wife bought me for Wedding gift.He got some training under J.D Berry. He was very talented and crafted a super fine longbow!SaaaaWeeeet!

Thanks.  I've been out of the game for around 15-16 years now so I hope I can do my part when the pressure is on.

Found a  Bear A riser (50th Anniversary model) that I talked about back in January.  Have several sets of limbs, but am still looking for a set of No.3, 45# limbs.  Along the way, also managed to pick up another Jet Leopard longbow. Stopped at Big Jim's for a few supplies while at Comptons, and he had just what I was looking for on the rack.  Couldn't pass it up.   Life is good.  :goldtooth:

Nothing on the "shopping list", but keep an eye out for certain bows.  Don't need more than a couple, but that's never stopped me when "the one" pops up somewhere!

Was able to assemble both Ultimates this evening. The top depicted Ultimate w/Carbon Cobra Curve limbs is 60”s…47@28. The bottom depicted Ultimate w/Carbon Cobra Curve limbs is 62”s…43@28.

The 60”r is to be setup for hunting this season. I did manage to run a couple dozen GT Ultra Light 340’s w/100 gn insert and 200gn point. Initial impression has me quite pleased. Draw was quite comfortable…Grouping from the first three arrows…. visibly quicker than one of mys hi performance design that is 52@28 shooting the same arrow…. most notably: the quietest recurve that I have ever encountered.

Haven’t acquired any for 2021. Been so satisfied with my chinook and it’s performance. But y’all have gotten some lookers.

I have a new Bivouac Union Jack coming in a week or so.

And placed an order for a new Yellowstone Hunter the other day, should be ready in a few months.

Pretty excited about both! I need something to look forward to these days.

I'm looking for a new bow now.  I just can't bring myself to hunt with my Dave Johnson longbow.

The Crowned Eagle bows are sweet shooters!
I have a bow on its way I've wanted for a long time-a LH 64" 52# 1966 Bear Kodiak.
