I got back to the trade build on Saturday, With the drum sander working I sanded all the lams to the desired thickness, tapered the but ends with my butt splice jig, then glued them together.
The lams glued together, laid out, and ready for the glue up.
No pictures of the glue up but I did film it with my new to me GoPro. I haven’t had the time to pull individuals pictures from it yet. I have been practicing using the GoPro whenever possible to improve the quality of my hunting videos.
I this morning after taking the bow out of the form.
Cleaned up the epoxy, ran thru the drum sander and squared everything up. Before narrowing to my desired thickness of 1.30” I run the string line and verified everything was aligned.
Narrowed down to 1.30” and the limbs tapered to 1/2” at the tips.
