Sorry guys! You can all stop checking your porches for a mad max bow. I hit the lottery, and on a Thursday to boot! It’s gonna be a good weekend!

I only had time to take 2 pics. More to come tomorrow.

Thank you Mark!

Update on the status of my trade bow.  It will not be sent until next week.  It has several hundred arrows through it and is nearly final sanded.  Plan is to spray the bow this weekend and mail after it has cured for a few day's.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Lonnie, try heating the tube with a heat gun and flattening it with a board while it’s still soft.
Dave.

Well now, that's thinking outside the bun.

When this leather wrap has dried out it will be ready to slide into it's tube and take that precarious ride with the USPS.  Please wish her well. 🙏

Thanks,  Roy.  My victim should receive it Monday according to the nice lady at USPS.

Ok so here she is...story behind it is a started this bow a while ago. This year I decided to go to twin oaks for the first time and decided to take this bow and finish tillering it there. Got her done and shot the course with it. Got her home and decided to dress her up with a set of snake skins. I hate to let her go which means it's a good candidate right? Lol. I'm doing another one for this year's hunting season. This is without a doubt one of my favorite bows I've built.

Well, I hope there is at least one of you that had faith in me, cuz I sure didn't know if this was going to happen. I still need to get some duct tape (yep, ran out while packing it up) for the ends and get it to the post. I don't think that will happen today as I have a previous commitment, but Monday for sure. The tube is a horrible looking mess, I don't have any proper clamps for squeezing it to shape while heated, so it sort of looks like it's been run over.

Skeater who?
