Mad Max that is look'n great!

I'm hoping after shaping the curly maple will show itself off.
I may even use some stain.

Yeah Maxie... Looking good....

I am making great progress... I sanded the ramps and fades today...  Spent the rest of the day cleaning the fins on a AC unit...

I’m liking how that’s looking Mark!
It’s another blacklocust stave. This one is much cleaner, and rings every time I would chop at it with the hatchet, so it should be good and stiff.

Received some riser material yesterday.  Thinking I would like to do a simple two species I-beam riser with a couple of these.  Thoughts?

Sorry, I should have labeled those.  In the second picture from left to right: Grenadillo, Bocote, Padauk, Zebra, and Bubinga.  The Bocote would still pair nicely with the Zebra though.

Got a sealer coat on my victims bow and my finish showed up today so I should be able to finish it up this weekend. Shot it a little and it still seems slow. I'll see what it's new owner gives me for feed back.

When you say slow,  what are you comparing too?
